Millie is 8 months old and 18 inches!

as the title reads, Millie is 8 months old and 18 inches at the withers ( i just measure with 2 rulers. It's not 100% accurate but gives an idea) and from what i can tell she's still growing!! To us ( my wife and I), Millie looks the same as she was 2 months ago. But to friends who visit once a week , they keep telling us shes getting bigger.

Last Time i measured her she was around the 17 inch mark or so and this morning shes almost as tall as the whole ruler length ( 50 cm ruler). She was about 15kg last time we weighed her but she feels heavier when i pick her up. Maybe shes around 16kg now. She also had her spay surgery 2 weeks ago and everything went well.

We love that shes Big. She's like a small female bordercollie. My wife always wanted a bordercollie =)..

Wonder how much bigger shes going to get and if she will have one last growth spurt HAHA. Anyone want to make any predictions? =)
 
I have no predictions, but I wanted to share that my Angel Pavi was about 20 inches, and he was a great dog! Both his parents were champions, so we know they were in size, but he was destined for bigger things, as is Millie! Pavi weighed around 45 pounds in his prime, all muscle.

My friend loves the big shelties as we call them. She has one that is at least as big as Millie and maybe even a tad bigger!
 
She is beautiful. My Danny Boy is tall. We got him when he was nine months. He must have been stunted. He kept growing and growing where we really have a little Lassie. He weighs in at 40 lbs. And he isn't really fat.
 
She is beautiful! I have a 20" sheltie and his handsomeness could not be contained in a smaller body. He is a great big funny guy and I love him!

I dont have many recent pictures. The first 3 are from the last 2 weeks. the last pictures I've posted on here before. WIsh I had showing how big she is compared to other shelties haha but as you can see from the couch picture she takes up a nice chunk of the couch..

OMG does that second picture remind me of Birch's face. SHe is so cute.:smile2:
