It will be interesting. With Angus he loved him for a couple of weeks then snubbed him (why is THAT thing still here) for a week or so then best buddies forever. He might not do the snub as Spitfire is meowing some with age.What a melt-your-heart face he has! Soooo cute.

I remember when I had my Cocker Daisy put down, Riley was so upset and he’d only been with her for a year! Piper’s litter was born maybe a week after so maybe almost 3 months later when I brought him home and Riley was in absolute joy. It was like he thought I got the puppy for him…I must say he was an incredibly patient step parent to Piper for a 7 year old dog! I don’t think he’d ever been around pups since he was one and had even snapped at my senior Daisy but he allowed Piper his latitude as he was growing up. It wasn’t until Piper was maybe 5 or 6 months old he let him know enough was enough.
