This was sent as a crosspost on the K9AmberAlert group. I hope he is found safe but there was terrible weather over that way yesterday. Please keep Remy in your prayers & put the word out in hopes of a happy ending.

"Remy" is missing from Spanish Fort, Alabama which is in the Mobile area. He was adopted from Collie Rescue of South Louisiana back in 2003, so he's 13 years old now. According to the family it appears that someone pulled back a portion of a privacy fence board. Because of his age we can only imagine the worst. Remy is not an outdoor dog. He was only out exercising in the yard for a short time when this happened. His family is frantic. They have posted signs in the area and have searched through the immediate neighborhoods. Remy is microchipped. He was spotted on Friday but has not been seen since. The family has notified both local police and shelters.

The owner's name and information is listed below:

not there at the moment....
Spanish Fort is on the other side of Mobile Bay so not really our area but we'll keep an eye out when we're in that area....

Prayers for Remy

Thank you for your prayers and concern for Remy! We appreciate those who can look out for him!

Remy also has a sheltie at home waiting for his return. Remy raised our sheltie, Mackey. We all miss him very much. We are continuing to contact everyone we can think to contact.

Please continue to pray for Remy's safe return. Thank you!

Any news?
Is there any way you can post a picture of Remy so we can create a facebook post to share around to get word out? Or has there already been a post made?

I'm trying to find a good picture. The most current I have is Remy with my daughter on the couch. You can't see him that well the way they are laying. My daughter did post to Facebook though. Thank you!
(My daughter has also been gone this week & I need her help with putting pictures on the computer:)

Don't give up.... my friend just lost and found her sheltie that had been gone for almost 2 weeks. Make lots of bright colored posters with his picture and lots of flyers in mail boxes, take to businesses etc. Let the mail man know, landscapers, any one out and about. Get up at dawn to look and dusk they roam more at quiet times.
Don't call out his name, but call it softly. Put out clothing with your scent especially socks.

She had tons of help from Mid Tennesee sheltie rescue so get in touch with your local collie rescue.
