Monty is coughing/choking almost none stop

THANK GOD! Can I just say how worried I have been all day! I had a Nosework lesson with all 3 dogs since DH is out of town and I was quite distracted & unable to concentrate at times thinking about you and Monty and the girls. I am now crying with a bit of relief.

If he's breathing on his own that's huge. I really hope you can get a Mr. B to him because as we all know it will be incredibly comforting for Monty. If you don't need to deliver it in the package I would take it and have you and the girls all handle it so he has your scent with him as well. Still distressing until morning comes but he's headed in the right direction. I would give anything to know what caused this as I'm sure you would also.

BIG HUGS to you and the girls and we're all here for you - we are about 8 hours behind you time wise so I will check in before bed if you need any support. Don't hesitate!

I gotta say Darren, I don't think there's many dry eyes here...Gloria messaged me that Monty was on a vent and I thought omg so when I read your post that definitely got me crying!
I'm very VERY happy to read that he's off the vent and crying for Mr B...that is a very good sign indeed!
Monty is one of a kind and has so much spirit!
That you so much for the update and hugs and prayers sent your way!

Don't worry,I'll get Monty to apologise on here when he's better for giving everyone a fright. Mr B has to be wrapped so as they come in two I've told them to throw out one and give the other to Monty. I've shown them posts here so they could understand that Mr B isn't just some kind of toy lol. Thank you, you've really made me feel I'm not alone and I'm sure Monty has felt all the love and support!!!
The next 'good' update I'm due is between 10-11:00 GMT tomorrow, They'll only call before in an emergency so I'm going to turn my phone off....j/k.

Tears of relief here. My gut just unclenched a bit...I didn't know about the vent but that's probably a good thing or it would have been worse! Should have put 2 and 2 together for can't breathe though.
I'm trying to imagine my anxiety for Monty multiplied a thousand times for where you're at and it's awful to think about! I hope you can get a bit of rest. And the phone doesn't ring!

Oh Darren, I'm so sorry I missed all this going on, I've just been getting on to do an update - and managing to fall asleep at the computer a couple of times so I imagine you're pretty exhausted too.Thank you so much for taking the time to check in on Tully. Mind, maybe it's just as well I didn't know so I wasn't worried about Monty too.

Are they letting you visit with him? I can't imagine what it would be like not to be able to. I do think it helped Tully a lot.

That is great news he's barking, gosh he's like a male version of Tully, these little buggers demanding to be let out! On the plus side that means he must be able to breathe.

Any chance of visiting a specialist once you have him back? After this debacle I'd want a second opinion.
