Murphy is turning 7 this week! Our kids sure do grow up too fast, don't they? (Whether they have fur or not!)
Has anyone else noticed their dogs getting bossier and more demanding with age? If he wants to play, eat, or go out, he will try every tactic he can think of to get our attention. He'll start with the subtle "sit and stare"....move on to "put my chin on your knee and stare", and finally end up with "bark until you can't possibly ignore me anymore". I understand that sometimes you just really have to GO, and believe me, it's not like we're depriving him of anything or making him wait excessively long. Of course he's a bit spoiled--it just seems like it's gone to his head in a more dramatic way recently.
I have an 8 year old cat who has gotten extra demanding too--they must be working on how much of a pushover they can get me to be!
