More evidence that shelties are just to darn smart

Smart Shelties

As I have said before, we raised collies for a number of years and always had at least one until we had to have our "Bessie" put down. Then, along came this little Sheltie we named CHIP.

He seldom barks. He "mouths" his wishes mostly. He knows so many words, sounds, and movements. Nothing gets past this little guy.

We counted about 75 words Bessie knew, I bet Chip is on his way to over a hundred.
 
There are tons of words we can not say or spell without Shelby getting all excited. Just a few of them are: Nana, Poppop, eat, supper, hungry, ride...and this is just a few.

They are such smart pups.
