Hi guys,
I thought I'd share two short vids from our last training. It wasn't anything complicated, we're beginners after all (training since November).... Comparing to when we started it's still pretty impressive - my pup used to nip me and bark every time he caught on me. But he progressed and for at least last two months he's been doing great job. My problem is me and my poor handling ....
Anyway, I have a question too - have you taught any special agility commands? How did you teach for example direction commands? i have a bit of problem when i send my dog off, he sometimes turns the opposite direction than I need him - would it help to teach him directions then? Ive heard that cik and cap are more used for tight turns and collected jumps.... do you think its useful for shelties, too? if u have any other verbal command that you think that help with handling, i'd like to hear them
and here you go -- excuse my handling style, here are our vids
