Such love as you have for Honey never dies. Kiss, her and tell her, "See you at the Bridge...in the twinkling of an eye!"

God Speed Honey.... I know how hard that decision is and my thoughts and prayers are with you. I am crying here. I hope you got lots of pictures the last few days.

My heartfelt prayers and thoughts are with you all.

After much soul searching and listening to our hearts, it is with heavy hearts that we have decided we will put Honey's needs ahead of our own.

We've agonized and gone over the pros and cons over the past week, but we are now certain our decision is the right one. We will not put Honey through the pain of this dreaded disease longer than necessary.

For the past 11 years, my fur baby has been my companion, my confidante and my best friend. She has always been by my side, kept me happy, and comforted me when I was sad. I can do no less for her and will be by her side and comfort her until the very end.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. They have been very comforting to my wife and I in our time of need. Please pray for our Honey as the dreadful day approaches.

We hope all of you and your fur babies keep each other well and safe.

I'm so sorry for your family and Honey. May the Good Lord comfort and give you strength during this very difficult time. Please know that I feel your pain and remember that Honey loves you and always will. God Bless you.

FedAce will no longer be joining us.

I am sorry I didn't do this sooner. I tried to take the high road & had a "behavior modification" conversation with FedAce, hoping it would have an effect. They obviously didn't take it seriously.

Well, there is always a first...but wish it didn't have to come to it on this forum.

Elaine, I am sorry this had to happen within this thread. You & your family are in our thoughts & prayers.

Honey

We are so sorry to hear about Honey. We had to make the same decision on 3/23/09 with our best friend & companion "Bobby".Its tough to have to hold your pal when the vet gives her the final shot. Its painless & over in 30 seconds, she will be free to join the countless other shelties at the bridge, including our pals Bobby & Dundee.Blue skies-Cody,Wendy & Cole

I'm so sorry that you have to make this choice for Honey. I know how hard it is. Be there with her and hold her, it is hard but she knows that you love her. My thoughts are with all of you. Hugs.

Kelly

Although I think people are entitled to their voice and oppinions, this was carried too far. Kmeister should not have had to hear this. They are going through a tough enough time and I applaud you, Kelly for taking the action you did against Fedace.

Apologies from all of us, keimester. No one else is insensitive here and we hope you will accept our heartfelt sympathy for what you and Honey are going through. Only you can know what is best for your beloved pup. Please know that we are here to support you and offer comfort in whatever path you choose.

And we all thank you, Kelly, for giving us our civilized Forum back.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. The decision is never an easy one. God bless you and Honey.
