My Sheltie Talked...in ENGLISH

Pardon me for raising what probably seems crazy, but my Sheltie talked recently. In English. Only once, but enough to completely freak me out.

He woke me very early for breakfast on a Sunday, I fed him and then stumbled back to bed. He gave me a hopeful look and I said -- in a sing-songy tone -- "NO more, NO more."

He looked me straight in the eye and said "NO more, NO more."

I almost had a heart attack.

This was not a dream. It has not been repeated. He somehow caught the exact tone and pitch of my words, to the point of reproducing them.

HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS EXPERIENCE?

I have not seen it with a sheltie but with other dogs that say I Love You. That is amazing.
 
:lol:That is to funny! Sheltie's are so smart I believe it. I bet you could teach him to say it again. :yes:I've heard some dogs can really talk saying things like Ma Ma and I Love You.
 
Awesome !!

I have heard other dogs say various things on funniest home videos. They say MaMa, I Love my mama, I love you those seem to be the most common. I wish My Kia would talk I think its awesome.:lol:
 
haha.. so cute.. I actually saw a video today of a puppy screaming ELMO.. haha it was so funny, I nearly started to cry of the laughter. It just kept yelping out ELMOOOO.. hahaha... I swear it is so neat to hear a dog speak like us.:biggrin2:
 
Talking would be nice, but what I'd really like is a Sheltie who could balance my checkbook. :lol:
