My Sheltie Talked...in ENGLISH

I'm not sure whether I'm blessed or not, but Bacca does not speak, nor does he even bark! Yes, that's right! A Sheltie that does not bark! That's one for the record books! :biggrin2:
 
Wow a talking dog! How cool is that?! I would be gearing up all the rooms with video cameras to catch it could be worth some moolah!

The first Sheltie I had spoke two languages, no kidding, well okay not spoke but understood English and Spanish.

I got Samba from the first owner she had to give him up due to her son having Asthma. She and her whole family was Spanish and yet she taught Samba all his commands in English.

When we would go on walks and he heard Spanish speaking people nearby he would pause and usually gravitate toward them. I think he missed his first family somewhat at times like that.
 
OK....so we're all going to start imagining our pups speaking! :lol:

Today, I could swear that when I asked him if he wanted supper, he said "NOW!"....kinda came out like a low gruff (that's as close to a bark as he has managed yet).
