Natural Defense by Sergeants stains

I know that some of you use natural defense by Sergeants. I used it last year once in the fall, and I found that is stained the white ruff yellow. I could not wash it out for months. Was it just me? I don't want to have my two walking around with yellow stains at the base of the neck - it's very visible there. Any advice? Right now, I am thinking of using some other natural sprays and shampoos instead.

It did this to mine also! All three of mine. It was there for a few months like you said. I don't know how to make it not do that :( I stopped using it b/c it didn't keep the fleas away for me.

If you live in a place where fleas aren't too bad you can probably pull off using diatmacious earth and also add a little bit of apple cider vinegar to their water every day and I spray mine with vinegar before they go outside. Especially around their feet!

I have not had this problem with any of mine, but I don't put the vial all in one place. I put a small spot on the back of the neck, another in the middle of their back, and the rest at the base of their tail. I only use the 15 lb and under size, not the bigger one. Maybe that's why.

Oh! I admit I did put it all in one place. It didn't bother me enough to stop using it, it just didn't work down here in Texas. :(

I had the same problem so I stopped putting on white fur and all in one spot. I'd start just beyond the white collar and put a few dabs all down their backs, so that it wasn't as greasy and dried quicker.
