I just registered today and loving this forum already. My husband and I have a 7 week old Sheltie. Her name is Cricket. Soon, we will be adding a new "baby" to our family for Cricket to play with. His name is Riley and we will be getting him in 2 weeks. :biggrin2:

Hi and welcome to the group hunneyD!!! I'm sure you will just love it here! Oh my goodness are you one of the folks that got one of the puppies from Granite who also belongs to this group? The only reason I ask is that someone just got one of her pups and her other puppies name is Cricket. Oh maybe I'm just hopeing it might be the same person. We have been watching those little pups grow up and many like myself have just fallin in love with those little fur babies. :smile2:

Yep, I'm the one that is adopting MacTavish aka Riley from granite. And yes, we also have the lovely Cricket.

Granite - You should make all the parents join per contract in buying a puppy. :lol:

Aw shucks amac, no fun in "making" someone do anything! In my most recent emailings to the new parents I sent a link to the forum and expressed a hope that they would join the community that was GA-GA over these puppies! And look! Wonderful new people! YEAHHHHHHH!!!!

Oh are we glad to have you on board. We have all enjoyed watching your Riley (aka Mactavish) grow since he was born! We have recieved daily fixes of watching these puppies grow we begged Granite to ask the adoptive families to join the forum so we could further follow there growth. Thanks for fullfilling our Puppy fix. Granite has spoiled us we are like aunts and uncles to these pups. Congratulations on your new family member , Riley!

This is wonderful -- two "second generation" Sheltie lovers!! We got Layla first and loved her so much we added her cousin Bits -- two is wonderful. :smile2:
