Greetings everyone! We brought our puppy, Blaze, home to our family on December 16th. We didn't really plan it for Christmas... it just happened to be the time when the puppy was ready for us! (We've been actively looking and in contact with several breeders since the summer, and were very fortunate to go with who we did. They have been beyond excellent!!!)

My wife had dogs growing up, and I had one when I was a young child, but this is the first time myself or my wife are dog owners in our adult life. We obviously have a whole bunch of learning to do, and this site has already been a great resource. Our kids, 9 and 6, are "over the moon" with our puppy. I have to admit that this particular breed was my wife's idea; I was thinking something a little more unusual, like a basenji perhaps. As is often the case, must admit that my wife was right again... I can already see that this little fur ball is a perfect fit for our family.

Here's a couple of low-rez photos.

Welcome to you all and especially Blaze from us all here in England.

Ps. How old is Blaze?

He is 10 weeks old today. Amazing how fast they grow from week to week! Pretty good puppy for how old he is... essentially housebroken and sleeps through the night in his crate without a peep. He can't stay away from the Christmas tree, even though he _knows_ he's supposed to. Can't really blame him there though, as it is quite the temptation.

Spent some time in the UK myself. Lived in Newcastle for 4 months while on an exchange through university. It really is a dog-loving nation there!

You are one lucky family!! welcome to the forum. Take a ton of pictures....you will not believe how fast they grow up!!
