I am so happy to announce that I rescued a beautiful Sheltie girl from the animal shelter yesterday!! I want to show her off and perhaps get some name suggestions.. :wink2:

Also, is she considered Bi-blue, or bi-blue merle?

Thanks!

Congratulations! You are both lucky to have each other! She is beautiful.

She looks like a bi-blue to me. The difference between a bi-blue and a blue merle is that blue merles have tan on them somewhere, and bi-blues do not.

Sorry, I'm of no help when it comes to names. :)

What a pretty girl! She looks like she is so happy.

She looks like a bi-blue to me, as I do not see any tan points.

Congratulations on your new addition!

Beautiful girl - she is so lucky.

Do I see a little bit of tan on her right side near the while of her collar?

No tan at all on her. Yay I was calling her the right thing then! I was worried she was called was a merle bi-blue. I was calling her a bi-blue.
She is a perfect dog! They said she was a stray.. Surrendered at the counter. Been at the shelter since 3/12 and was supposed to be euth. on the 17th. Some miracle they did not and I met her yesterday. Instantly in love with her. Now I have a Sable, Tri and now a bi-blue!!! :biggrin2:

That is so wonderful! How about Miracle? (Yogi's dear mum's name:smile2:)
She is a lovely looking dog and so lucky that you have come to give her a second chance.

What a beautiful girl and so happy looking! My God I can't believe that shelter was only going to give her 5 DAYS to be found by owners/or adopted by someone. Gives me a clenched stomach. Especially since Utah has a great Sheltie rescue group. Thank goodness you found each other!!! Congratulations!

As for names, how about something on the blue theme? Teal, Ciel, Sapphire, Azure?

More pictures, please! :biggrin2:

For names, I always look at the meaning:

Noah and Emma mean comfort.

Liam means strong protector (and he is that!).

Perhaps a name meaning comfort or something to do with her colouring or what she will mean to you.
