New Sheltie!

Welcome to you, by the way. Hope your girl perks up quickly. She is beautiful and looks so comfortable with your others.

Regarding name: "Rainbow" comes to mind immediately, as she completes your rainbow and also has "marbling" as suggested by Sca's dad.

So perhaps something like "Blank's Blue Rainbow" AKA your call name for her.

OK ---- Karma's Blue Rainbow, aka Karma.

Hey - I just thought of the name "Karma", because of the way you two came together! :smile2:

Sharon

That's a darling name! I also very much like Zoey! We named our rescue cat baby Zoey because in Greek it means, "Life" and our little Zoey got a second chance at life when we rescued her.

She is just an absolutely beautiful girl and I hope she recovers fast. It looks like everyone has made fast friends!

Congratulations on your rescue adoption. Thank you for adopting her. She is extremely beautiful. Magnificent coloring! She is so fortunate to now have her forever home. How "settled in" she looks on the couch with your other two shelties. (brought happy tears to my eyes seeing that) What a wonderful life she will now have. I am very happy for her and for you.

PS I am saying a prayer that she will feel better. Maybe all the excitement?
Please keep us posted on how she is doing. Thanks.

Congratulations, she's beautiful. I just love her markings, they're so striking. :smile2:

She looks like a Whisper to me, or what about Cobalt, sticking to the blue theme, (Coco for short), Sky or Skylar.

Nila is the east indian word for Blue, which sounds kinda cute.

Zukra is the Arabian word for blue

wow she has already just settled right in!
What's her personality like?? I know shes probably been ill, and not herself, but is she a mischievous trickster? or a sweetheart full of love? or a curious explorer? Or just a princess?

I always love naming after a character or person, my first cat was Tolkien, as I love LOTR. I am sure whatever you name her, she'll be completely satisfied and happy!

The one day she was healthy she was just a happy, love girl.

She seems to be doing better every few hours but still really quiet and kind of depressed. Poor boogie nose girl.

The kids are set on Zoey.. So my clan includes - Louie, Roxy and Zoey! Awwww. They are already good friends and my Ornery Roxy LOVES her! I am so happy!

Thank you everyone for the compliments on her! I wish I knew her background. She is quite a beauty and I know someone got her from a breeder. I can't understand why someone would dump her off because she is such a good girl... Of course our first Sheltie was also a shelter rescue and he was also an angel.

I am so proud to have rescued her!
