Oh no!!! Is this hip dysplasia?

Good for you, Hugo, for successfully taming that Sheltie exuberance! Your little guy will thank you for it in the long run, although I can imagine it's more exhausting than watching a toddler. :rolleyes2: Congrats on the weight loss too...another tall order! I'll bet he loves those walks though, and they're good for you as well. I should know...I'm trying to walk a few pounds off one of my girls. It would help if I could keep her from grazing under the horses when they're eating and I could stay away from the chocolate  Keep up the good work!

I'm the one who walks him, and I usually try to do it twice a day, but with icy patches here and there, I'm SO nervous these days that it takes all the fun out of it. :(

The other day it was going well, until he saw another dog (ugly little crappy dog who barked non-stop  ), and pulled real hard on the leash and raised himself on his rear legs and sure enough, his knee popped out.

It's VERY tough to calm him down, because I'd normally wear him out (well, somewhat) by running or walking a lot, which is a no-no now.

UGH!!!!!!!!!!
