Ohio/Pennsylvania/Kentucky, etc.. get together?

Terrific! I'd say we have enough interest to definitely plan something! I'll wait a few more days to see if anyone else pops in, but after that we can start talking dates (I know many of us have weekend plans).

how about next week or December?
I'll be in PA then

Next week I'll be at the Ohio State Fair-woohoo! And in December I plan to be huddled in my house wearing all my sweatshirts at once and wondering why I moved

September Dates

Alright, I just looked at my calendar and am going to be difficult.

Here are the dates in September that I am available:

9/3 (though it's the first football game and would rather not do it this day unless it's the only one that works)
9/4
9/10
9/11
9/18

(I eliminated 9/24-9/25 because I know Silaria's agility club is hosting a big trial that weekend)

Do any of those days work/not work for you all?

Any days except the 3rd and 4th would work for me as that weekend is my areas local trial and I already have three dogs entered

Sept. 18th would work for me. That would give me time to follow the advice I've received concerning Maggie's issues while riding in the car!:lol:

I have to joke about it or I would feel like this::mad::mad:

Honestly, October would be a better month for me than September.

DH and I host a charity BBQ in late September/early October (this year its September 30 - October 2) and September is a crazy month for us because of it.

If October is possible, the dates that work for me are the 15th, 22nd. I have TDAA trials October 8/9 and 29/30. I'm trying to earn Edan's TACH this year and we are half way there.

Well, here's my concern about late October...won't it be cold? Or at least the possibility of cool? If we have it at my house we will have to be outside almost ALL of the time. My house is small AND it's a rental.

Also, I can't do the 15th because that's USDAA Nationals.

The 22nd would work, but I think that might be a little cool to spend the whole time outside.

Do those dates in September not work for you at all, Sheri?

Labor day weekend (9/3 & 4) Glen's parents may be in to visit. We are waiting to hear if they can come in that weekend or not. I was going to enter an AKC trial if they can't come in but I can go to Columbus instead.

September 11th we have to work our fire department's flea market. Columbus is a little too far to day trip. Our flea market is broken into 4 "Crews" and Glen is the crew chief for his crew and I'm on his crew.

September 17th is our next to last meeting with the people who help us put our BBQ together. We canceled the August meeting because of Edan's surgery so we have to have our September one.

September 24th is my club's USDAA trial.

September 30th is the first day of our charity event.

October weather is hit and miss as far as how cold it is. Some years, its still in the 50s and 60s through the end of October. Other years it can be in the 40s. Its a transition month.

October in this area usually isn't cold. For the last few years, it's actually still been pretty decent. I think around the 60s-70s would be fairly typical.
