Olive tried Snow Boots

How cute. She looks like she is saying "I can't believe I am wearing these things". Glad she enjoyed thr snow. We got about 5 inches today and Shelby was in heaven. Now she is passed out on the ottomon.
 
Our part of PA was supposed to get 5 but I think it ended up being 3. I put a lunge line on her and let run around (and faceplant several times trying to bite the snow and jump at the same).
 
Look at those boots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Too cute. We had ice on snow past 2 days and Sally (and I) have been sliding all over the place. We did get some snow today so it's only icey in spots now. Love to watch dogs in the snow- sheer joy.
 
Olive, DH, and I all got new snow boots this year. I wish hers held up better. The Velcro is too long and doesn't hold up the hind boots well, and so they slide down very quickly. The front holds up better, she had to wear those earlier this week when we noticed her pads were bothering her.
 
how "low" can they go?

For family reasons I moved myself and Fifi from Vancouver, Canada, to Hong Kong since November. I do miss Fifi's play scenes in the snow.

On a different note, we used to having heat at home while in winter in Vancouver, typically set at 18 degrees celsius, regardless how low the outside temperature was. However in the winter in Hong Kong, the temperature ranges from 8 to 18 degrees celsius... but with no temperature control at our apartment at all. Sometimes when I wrap myself in the warm duvet, Fifi only has a little blanket. So I am wondering as a pup that grew up in the north part of the American continent, does he feel cold in the night time when the temperature goes down to single digit? Or by mother nature he will adjust to having no heat at home?

Any feedback is appreciated.
 
Hahaha! She doesn't look thrilled!

I'd recommend the Pawz boots if you're still looking for something. A lot less bulky.

I imagine he would adjust. Olive spent her first year in Texas and didn't have a problem adjusting from winters around 50-70 F to winters more around freezing. My parents have poor heating in my old room but Olive was very comfortable in her crate.
