Our baby having surgery Thursday

Our almost 8 1/2 year old Jasmine is having surgery Thursday to have a lump removed from her side, behind her front leg. It's about the size of an egg. The vet did a needle aspiration, the first two came out with light bloody water. The third time they got a sample. Results, cystic with some unknow darker cells. ALso said that it wasn't a lipoma, although that's what it felt like. You can move it up and down and sideways. Feels like a pocket of fluid. Okay, I'm a wreck. Praying it's just a cyst. We waited and tried hot packing. It hasn't really shrunken too much. On the bright side it hasn't got any bigger. The vet thought it was possible it might of been caused from her being a nut and trying to squeeze through the door before it was totally open. It just appeared overnight. Also should add she acts just fine, you wouldn't know she had a lump there. Anyone had a diagnosis like this and what did it end up being?

She is having her surgery tomorrow am. Will let you all know what they find. Thanks so much for all the prayers!! I think our older sheltie, 12 year old Mandy, is feeling my stress, she was throwing up this morning. But she's been fine since than.
