May Jasmine's surgery go well today and her recovery be smooth.

Surgery is over

The vet's office called, surgery is over. Jasmine came through it fine and is resting. We may be able to pick her up after 2, instead of waiting until five. Bad news is they don't know what the lump is and sending it out to have pathology done on it. It wasn't fatty and didn't look like she thought it would. So trying not to worry for a few days until the results come back. Can't wait to bring our baby home.

I can relate. Our Murphy had a lump on his side that the vet aspirated. Said it wasn't cancer so we watched and waited. It went away.

I can only imagine how scared you are right now. Take deep breaths and keep telling yourself everything will be fine.

Jasmine is home now! Vet said that the lump wasn't attached. It will be about a week for the biopsy results. But we're so happy that it didn't seem attached! We just love our shelties!!
