Edan and CJ earned their FIRST titles in Treibball! We successfully completed the qualifying requirements for our "ATA Teacup Beginner A - Virtual" title.

The American Treibball Association allows for Virtual Trials. (Video your run and submit them via YouTube and virutaldogsports.com.) We recorded the video on May 3rd and heard back from the judge who watched the videos today.

I'm very excited! It took us 2 years to get to a point where we were ready to actually compete and another 6 months to find a date that worked for everyone in the class. (OK, we were probably ready to compete sooner than 2 years but we really wanted to make sure the dogs were 110% ready - plus the rules kept changing on us.)

Yahoo! Way to go! Now, since it's a virtual trial... can we also be virtual spectators? I've never watched Treibball being done, and I would love to see the video of your runs. It sounds like Edan and CJ are now qualified to show us all how it's done!

I have the videos uploaded to my agility club's YouTube channel currently but they are tagged as private. I'm going to make Edan's and CJ's public as soon as I can login to do so then I'll share the links.

Now we get to work on the Intermediate level where we direct the dogs to specific balls rather than just allowing them to push any ball in.
