My daughter is training Sarah in lots of things. She is so trainable. We just got a clicker and are working on clicker training. One of the things we are teaching is for her to balance stuff on her nose and stay until we give her the release command. She is so good that my daughter balanced a pencil, a Rummikub tile, and a rope toy on her nose. She stayed that way for a good 30 seconds while I got the camera out. Even the camera making noise didn't distract her! She is so much fun. I figured I would share the picture. (Ignore my purple toes in the foreground! lol) :biggrin2:

Awww, she looks just like Honey, only Honey won't let me touch anything to her nose. Great work on the training, you have a smart puppy there!

Excellent ! Sally will hold a treat on her snout til I give her the release. Don't you just love how trainable Shelties are ?

Beau would say,"Mamma, give me the darn treat and will talk about doing tricks later":biggrin2:

Thank you for the replies! She is indeed a smart dog. She watches every move we make, and within a couple of days had my routine down pat. We are planning to make our own agility course this summer and work with her. My husband and I both work for the school system, so therefore have summers off with the kids. They are excited about it, too! I will post pictures.:fl
