Hi Everyone

We just moved to a new house with Mo Mo. Mo Mo pee pee on the newspaper at old house and dont have accident. but after we moved to new home, he dont pee on the newspaper, he will pee on the newspapers sometimes, but sometimes he pee on the carpet. We moved to the new house for almost one month, still cant solve the problem.
Now I have to lock him in an limited space for him to pee on newspaper when I have to work.
Any suggestion? thanks
 
How old is Mo Mo?
Maybe the person who lived their prior to you had dogs that peed on the carpet, so Mo Mo thinks its ok to go there? I would try having the carpets cleaned. I would start treating him like he was a puppy again.

Just a question, why does he go on newspaper and not outside?
 
mo mo is 20 months. The house is new, so no dog pee on carpet before.
Before he pee on newspaper because more convience for him whike I work and I will bring him for a walk after I back home.
I back hong kong for vacation for 1 month and left mo mo with my parents in my new home.
This morning, he just pee on my new carpet.

You said what I planned to say but before I said it! Also, you might want to try the scented pads. You can pick them up at most pet stores. They are designed to encourage peeing where you want.

It could also be that Mo Mo is still stressed over the move. Be sure to set up a place for him that makes him feel at home. Oh, and be sure to use a cleaner on the carpet that neutralizes wee..

How long is your work day? Most dogs can hold their bladder for quite a while. Personally I would retrain him not to pee in the new house :)
 
Mo Mo probably also needs to be taken on longer walks maybe and like the others have said, you may have to potty train him again:uhoh:
 
Just a thought, is he marking his territory? Since it's a new house he may feel he needs to stake his claim. As other suggested you need to go back to basic puppy training. You might also try a belly band. People who have males that mark in the house seem to have success with that method.

Even if you have new carpet, anyplace the pup has peed you will need to be very diligent in removing the scent. Even if you can't see or smell the area, the dog probably can. If they smell it they will go back to the same area.

I'm sorry, I find it funny the title is pee pee. As soon as I saw it I started laughing. I mean it's not funny what he's doing, but the title "pee pee", just hit my funnny bone..:razz:
