Petco is a great store in NYC. Every Saturday they have kittens/cats up for adoption. Good vibe store.

The Petco on 14st is really nice. Have you been to the PetSmart on west Broadway near Houston? It's brand new. The nice PetSmart I've ever been too and they have so much stuff!

Thanks for the clarification. I like the competition. I find different things at each store so I was not happy to see them combine. We use both and even some local chains.

I was in Dayton Ohio last week and happened to see a Complete Petmart store and decided to visit it and see what it is like. Probably wouldn't have, if I didn't just read about it on this thread. 
I walked in and it was like I died and gone to heaven.
Loved it! And, I do have to say this is the first pet store that I went in that had Orijen and Acana for sale. It also had a freezer section that had raw.
Petco I like a lot better than Petsmart. Petco seems to carry a higher quality food section. It is where I purchase Wellness Core... also carries Solid Gold, Merrick's, Innova, Castor and Pollox, Halo, AvoDerm... just some better quality names all and all.

Told you! It's awesome! (Though I did find that "Pet People" carries GREAT food for a bit cheaper)
