Post your christmas photos

Only a few more weeks until Chrissy so it's time to get the camera out and take some festive season snaps. Thought I'd start a thread for Santa photos.

Here's our Xmas card photo with Santa. The pup's hats and bow tie are courtesy of Photoshop - I couldn't get them to pose with decorations on.

That's hilarious! I never thought about photoshopping costumes on my dogs! Last time I tried santa hats, I a few pictures for the hall of shame!

Caro, I'm impressed with your Photoshop skills! Looks natural!

Our local West Elm (furniture store) did a free photoshoot for dogs and families. I was so impressed and it was such a great idea! Unfortunately I don't love the photo of me (lol) and it's a really huge photo, so I ended up not using it for Christmas cards. That being said, it's perfect to share here!

that is a nice family pic:yes:

Here is the picture I took this morning! I think there are 30 different versions of this picture on my phone now. Relic would not stay still, my daughter was not smiling, my son was leaning over in a few. Oh it was a mess. I finally gave up and this was the best I could do. Merry Christmas!

it's very hard to get kids and dogs to cooperate at the same time:winkgrin:
that's why I stick to shelties:yes:

Love the photos, it's nice to see everyone's dogs in the same thread. Have to say, Shelties make the most beautiful Christmas photos.

It's funny how small everyone's dogs look when they are photoed with a person or tree, sort of gives a height perspective. And Kudos to anyone with multiple dogs who got them to pose, why do they wriggle around as soon as the camera is out (except Sprite who should have been a model), and extra Kudos to Brittany for managing 2 kids as well.

Ashley that's a gorgeous photo, love the rustic backdrop. I solve the problem of ruining my dogs' pics by staying out of them!

Barb - that Santa is a keeper, where did you find him? I've never had a Santa that will hold my dogs on their lap, Tully would be much happier not always hidden by Santa's leg. Whoever it is seems very dog friendly.

Every Santa at the multiple pet stores where we get pix will hold a dog or two- a little hard to snuggle all four on Santa's lap
