Potty training

Well, This morning was quite successful... I took him out from the cage in the morning, and I led him straight to the bathroom after his breakfast, he did both in about 5 mins... and every time I see him sniff the floor, I ask him to go to the bathroom. Sometimes he pees but sometimes he doesn't.

This afternoon, to my surprise, I sensed that he is asking me to take him to the bathroom. So I told him, if u wanna pee, go inside and pee. He went in straight and peed and came out... I hugged him and gave him a kiss... :) so far no accidents today...:wink2:
 
I'm glad everything is going great :biggrin2:. It honestly takes a bit of time to pick up on their signals. Once you get the signals you're all good! Until your pup learns if he's at the door and cries he gets to go outside.... then it sucks again :lol:
 
I need help! Jose was doing pretty good with the potty training but since yesterday, he started peeing on the floor... but he'd still use the pee pan for pooping.

When I see him pee on the floor, I'd tell him "No" and bring him to the bathroom where the pee pan is. I kept him there with the bathroom door closed for about 15 mins but he wouldn't do it. He kept looking at the door knob. So I let him out and after some time, he'd pee again on the floor... Am I correcting him in a wrong way????
