Potty training

I'm sure she can hold for hours since she never pee or poo in her cage. I'll wake up at six to feed her and bring her out. I have to be out by 8 for work and it's her time from that point onwards. Is it ok to cage her for long period of time. I'll be home by six and it's her meal time and walk time. Her pee and poo comes after 30mins or so after the walk.

Ok let's assume she pee and poo outside, I must praise and play with her. Should I still lock her up in cage after she's done with her business

How about an x-pen?

I don't think I could concentrate at work knowing I did not make arrangememnts for someone to come in and walk my puupy if I did not have an x-pen,
your time frame is way to long for your pup to be left in a crate. I would invest in an x-pen,or even baby gates,and let the pup have a nice area to sleep,play and get some excersise.

You might even consider setting up a cam,so you can keep watch an see what is going on.

Seriously tho,I think a better solution,like a neighbor,or good friend,family to walk & potty the puppy in your absense if it must be crated.

She kept it well today after my maid and mum walked her for me. Sweet of her to hold her pee and poo till I got home and walked her. Did her business over at the 'usual grass patch' and hopefully it will contiune. Will take her gorgeous photo and share it well you guys. Cheers for the help

I agree with some of the others. Leaving your puppy crated for that long is just setting it up for failure. And, the more often a puppy pees/poops in their crate, the more comfortable they become with that.

If you are not able to come home at least once during the day to let her out, an x-pen is the way to go. Attach it so that she can still go in her crate to sleep, but if she has to go potty, she can go far from her "living" space. Set up newspapers in the x-pen.

For the past few days, she never had any accident so i allowed her to roam freely at home under the careful watch of my maid. Happy little girl ;D
