Precise Dog food

I was just wondering if anyone had thoughts about Precise dog food - I am thinking of changing foods and have gone through some of the discussions but don't recall seeing any reviews - the breeder of my shelties feeds their dogs this..I was thinking originally of switching to Innova, but then saw the posts about how P&G has bought the company....the more I read, the more confused I get...:smile2:

Honestly, I've never heard of this food, and I recently created a spreadsheet with a ton of different foods on it. I'll have to read up on it.

As a side note, I also decided against Innova because of the P&G buyout.

Foxglove has been feeding it for years (and by your location, I guess that is where your dog came from?). They feed it to almost every dog from young to old, and it works well for them.

I used it for a while (having Foxglove/Ashburton dogs), but one of my dogs didn't tolerate it for some reason, so I switched. Sourcing also became an issue in my area.

all 3 of my dogs are indeed Foxglove shelties - I was just curious why Precise
hadn't come up for discussions as I am sure they feed what they consider the best -

I hadn't heard of Precise till now. I looked it up on the dog food analysis site and the consensus there seems to be that its heavy in grains and only rates a 3 out of 6. But I've learned to take the dog food analysis site with a grain of salt. If it works for you then feed it.
