Ember was the littlest of her litter too. Her littermates were huge compared to her. She is 13 1/3" now and has the attitude of a dog 3x her size. Nothing wrong with her. Her littermates(the ones I know) ended up being 15 1/4", 15 1/2" and 17". Her mom and Dad were both 16"

A friend had a litter last summer there was a tiny little male everyone called LD. He was a spitfire. His littermates were 3x his size. She had another litter 8 wkks later and all those pups were bigger than him by 6 weeks. Nothing wrong with him just small. If your breeder is concerned her should have the pup checked out by her vet. Most likely is just small.

That is comforting, she isn't tooooo concerned since the puppy is eating good and playing non-stop, she actually was the last to crash out of all the puppies!
I think she just wanted to let me know shes not pleased with her size so far, and just didn't want me to be surprised if she takes her to the vet and something is wrong. I am SO excited to bring her home in two weeks though. everything is working out, have a vet, have a training class lined up, have almost everything for her. I am happy that other people have had the little ones and no issues :D
 
Meggie was by far the littlest in her litter. Her breeder called her "Little Bit." But she ended up just slightly over 14" tall and is healthy as can be. I kind of like the little ones!!

Luna is ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE! Puppies just melt my heart!
 
My Dandie was the tiny girl in her litter, but she is NOT SO TINY in spirit :eek2: It just means that she is just a little more determined to get her fair share.

Hahaha the breeder was saying Luna defiantly has some spunk to stand up to her bigger brothers and sisters! So maybe she will be heartier for it ! :)

I added the two videos of all the puppies playing to the album of 6 weeks, there are 6 total puppies, 3 bi blacks and 3 bi blues. The camera mainly focuses on Luna but the other puppies come in and out :)

Luna is 7 weeks yesterday I am so excited, they go to the vet on wednesday and assuming all goes well we will be getting her on sunday.... I am so freaking excited ive purchased everything I need :) its going to be longest week ever...
 
My Neechee was third in a little of three. His sire & dam were both pretty small - not much more than 13 inches. Neechee was the cutest one and had more "cheekiness" than the other two. I sat in the floor and he pranced sideways over to me and brought me a toy. We played for a while, then he prances over to the corner of the breeder's living room and takes a huge dump. I don't know why, but at that moment I fell in love with him - no other puppy would do!

He eventually reached a top height of 11 9/10 inches tall (I trained him to "stand tall" so he would measure in.) He was 12 pounds as an adult, and in that tiny little dainty body was the attitude of the best herder, squirrel chaserk, and companion that could ever be. His dainty little feet were no more than the size of a dime. I was constantly asked where I was able to found a "mini-sheltie". He was such a great dog - stubborn but willing to compromise,

Never had an illness in his live until he was 15 and had his first stroke. He had another stroke that took his life at the age of 17. But he never had any idea he was a little dog!
 
got an email from the breeder today luna went to the vet and is 100% healthy she is just tiny so we will be picking her up sunday afternoon!!!
