Puppy Height and Weight

Emma is 8 months today and is 14-7/8" and 21.2 pounds.

I really hope she doesn't, or we will have to rethink our agility plans haha. She appears to be right around the same height as Bentley (15.75"). I will get a real height on her at our trial this weekend.

I was way off! The CMJ measured her at 14.75. So she can still grow a bit if she wants!

Okay,...how do you measure them? I've been measuring from right about the shoulder blades :confused2:

We measurre by having Zak stand next to a wall or a cabinet door so we don't have to worry about wood trim and hold a measuring stick up to the wall and then put a ruler across his shoulders so it hits the MS and then you have the height without guessing.

Holy cow~

Well i knew Jasper had gained & grown..he has had a huge growth spurt in the last few weeks.

His wiegh in tonite was 18 whopper..rooo's! And he is now 15" tall,right on the nose.

Trapp seems to have grown als

nly weighing in at 20#,but he is 16" tall. I told Brian,Jasper was looking a bit pudgy...I think we'll be doing just a bit of a cut back.
I was shocked on how much he weighed.

He's all legs. He's growing up so fast

I finally measured the Fluff woman tonight, and I am completely baffled. I don't care about big, small, or medium sized dogs. Smuff is mine, and no matter if they are two inches tall or 7 feet tall they are mines. Yes, mines. :biggrin2:

I measured Fluff tonight, and she's 16 and a half inches. :uhoh:

If Fluffy is 16 and a half there is no freaking way Smudge is only an inch taller than her. I measured Fluff twice and got the same number. I've measured Smudge numerous times (during the course of the last 8 or 9 months), and it's been the same - 17 and 1/4 inches.

Look at these pictures. Am I mad? Is there really only about an inch difference from the shoulder for these two?

Sorry, but those are the only pictures I have of them side by side. Not the best, I know. I am measuring at the shoulders. Something's not right though. He's more than an inch taller than her! He's also about ten pounds heavier.
