Puppy problem again

Ha ha, you're soooo right! It smelled, made her breath smell, ha ha, I was like, "Eeeeww, Megan gross, now look what you made me do".. Needless to say I washed and WASHED my hands!

Meggie seems to REALLY enjoy the frozen poop, aka poopcicles we have in the yard now. She'll chance getting shut out in the cold to get one of those.

And I have the old food debate with my dad nearly everyday. His dog eats all his breakfast, lunch and dinner scraps and crappy grocery store food. But his dogs have lived to be 18, 13 & 16. How do you argue with that??

LOL...I have this same debate with my MIL. Her last dog was a GSD mix and he lived to be 17. He ate whatever was on sale at the grocery store. Who knows That stuff just makes me ill looking at it.

I guess we all just do what we feel is the best.

Yup! Meggie eats Wellness. If Dad gives her table scraps, I know it. They upset her tummy and give her the runs. He can't get away with it!!

Excellent post MissSuzie, excellent! Froxen poopcicles, , OMG, that is awesome! Like I had said earlier, my Mom and Grandma fed our dogs crappy grocery store food till other stuff came out anf there dogs lived longer than my Tyler did off of SD. When Eukanuba came out, then they ate that stuff..

Lol I hope our dogs dont develop a poop eating habit. The little mini aussie puppy has licked a couple of poops but maybe thats just because she doesnt quite know what they are yet.

Hear, Hear Chris on the food debate.

We had a Golden Retriever while I was growing up, lived 17 years on Purina Dog Food mixed with water.

Cleveland..........7 years on what was then supposedly an excellent food.

Research and decide and then look yourself in the mirror and say, I am doing the best I can TODAY with the time, knowledge and resources I have at my disposal!

Glad to hear it was a simple fix with the puppy!

A Golden who lived for 17 years, wow, that is excellent! Mine lived 12 1/2 years, but passed away from prostate cancer.

Apparently dog food types can be "hot button" on here!

Personally, I think it's more about how much you exercise and pollution factors in the environment and food rather than nutrition alone. And probably things like how fast a dog chews and shallow it's food. People who chew their food more tend to live a lot longer and healthier so it's probably the same with dogs!
