Assuming you bred the two dogs in you signature?

A bi-black to bi-factored sable merle can only produce bi factored sables (and merles), bi-blacks and bi-blues. So your blue merle puppy has to be a bi-blue.

I think you have two bi-factored sables, one bi-factored sable merle, and one bi-black.
 
in the first pic it looks like 2 sables, sable merle, and bi black. In the second pic of the merle it looks like a blue merle so not sure if its the lighting or camera flash that makes it look blue or if it really is blue.
 
the group shot- I thought sable merle but the other shots- even the one where you can just see part off to the right all look more like blue.
 
Interesting how it seems OK by the forum moderators for these pictures to stay posted....but my last group of puppy pictures and Michele's mention of Trapp becoming a big brother were deleted rapid-fire.

Anyway, puppy colors look to be two shaded sables, a sable merle, and a bi-black. Congratulations on your new litter of puppies.

As mods, we don't have any hard evidence of whose puppies these are or where they were born. As far as we know at this point, the OP could have taken these photos at someone else's house.

As there was no "announcement" about these puppies, only a question about their colors, it's not a litter announcement. This thread, as with all threads on the Forum, is periodically monitored for inappropriate content by the mods.

I don't mean to open up something here,but it is well within Janets right to question this post about these puppies.

There have been to many times,and gone unnoticed about other pups being born to breeders,that folks own one of thier dogs,and it goes unnoticed,because its a different person that is posting the link or the pictures,or the big announcement that puppies have been born.These links redirect to a specific kennel or breeder home.
Whats good for one,should be straight across the board.

And may I add that most times these breeders are not even forum members,but know only to well those breeders web sites get clicked on,then come back on here ,and go ga ga over new puppies.

I expect a firestorm of private mail over this post,but honestly,its wrong.I feel as she does,and this question of puppy colors etc,should be removed or closed.

Janet is a long time member on this forum,and as far as I am concerned as one of the owners of two of her gorgeous pups,I'm proud of the fact I own her puppies.

It's funny,one can go back and read all the posts on Janets litters,and see pictures,see videos..and how everyone,yes even repected breeders of shelties make comments,but now it's taboo for her to mention litters,or start a thread even on general health,after Sasha's delivery.

Or post pictures in a private album..that YES she paid premium membership for her right to add to an album..but only to have pictures deleted.It's wrong~

But now due to changes of forum policies,she is not even allowed to mention the word "puppies".I think it is a shame really,I may be reprimanded,and so be it,but I do know there is a fair share of folks that share the same thought.But just have not spoken publically,because they don't want to overstep.

When I read her post,I expected to see a reply,and an explaination of how mods see that the post is harmless.It doesn't mean I as an owner of 2 Lavendel Shelties,have to agree.

And I feel I am within my rights to concur with her.

You are absolutely within your rights to agree with Janet. Likewise, Kelly, as the Forum admin and founder, is within hers to set certain rules and guidelines for Forum usage. Janet brought up a very valid question, and I answered it (having kept an eye on this thread since this morning, when I first read it) truthfully and as best I could.

Ann and I, as moderators, do our best to interpret and apply Kelly's rules (because Kelly can't be everywhere at once). Again, because there are only pictures of puppies (whose provenance is unclear), and a question about their coloring, I can't call this a litter announcement at this time. I stand by this decision, but continue to monitor the thread as I do the entire Forum for posts that violate our no-advertising policy.
 
I've been offline all day (yes, sometimes it does happen...even moderators have other lives!) but having caught up on this now I agree with Megan. Until we know otherwise, these are anonymous photos of someone looking to judge color, not announcing a litter. This is not the first time these kinds of questions/pictures have been posted, as we've had other discussions about color accompanied by photos.

Should the person posting this turn out to be the breeder, that's a different story. There is no mention of this being the poster's new litter, or having any ownership of these pups at all.

Any breeder is more than welcome to post litter information on this forum. All they must do is meet the requirements. We don't believe that is asking too much...the requirements are far from unreasonable. We've set them for good reason, and we will continue to enforce them, even if that is unpopular with some.
