I posted a few days ago about Holly having heart issues took her to a Specialist Group and they performed Electrocardiogram, blood pressure test Ultrasound Cardiac Study x ray and pulse assessment. Her issues of collapsing have gotten worse with as much as going out to go potty she will general collapse immediately after. They had suggested to see a Cardiologist but honestly she is 16 has lead a good full life and my fear is them putting her on meds that will ultimately put into kidney failure. Her levels increased just from being on the enapril for only 10 days. Her heart murur is a grade 5 and a month ago it was a 3 . Her red blood cell count showed a very mild anemia and blood pressure was normal. She does have ruptured chordae tendinae which I know there is no treatment for. She last night layed on my stomach for 9 hours straight (she normally doesn't do this wants her own space. By this am I had made the decision to not seek any further treatment to watch her and put her down when I felt it was time, her eyes are still bright. She always surprises me and today bounced back a little, but my feeling is she is so far down that she will probably never come back and I want her to have quality of life. I am ready to let go but I feel she hasn't reached that point yet. If anyone has any advice on this I would really appeciate it, I am scared of making the wrong decision, its heartbreaking to say the least. Thanks in advance for any responses! Holly's mommy ♥
