Rabbit Run at the National!

Sooo Glad to hear you all made it back home!! My mom and I were wondering what you were going to do...at one point during the night we had considered perhaps hitching a ride back to NE with someone if our plans didnt work out..we than thought that is maybe what you all would be doing and hitching a ride back with Ann and your mom, seemed like the best thing in light of the travel situation going on there. Its a shame you were not able to stay and watch the rest, but it also sounded like alot of people were in the same boat.
I went to bed last night at 10pm and slept till 10am this morning and feel like I could sleep for another 12 hours. I was exhausted both mentally and physically. I still feel like today I am in a blur....Im working on the rest of the pics right now hopefully in an hour or two i'll have them all up!!!! :)

I'm glad you all made it home safe and sound. What an adventure! Thank you for taking to the time post while at the ASSA show. I really enjoyed reading everything.

Thank You

I am very happy to hear that all of you made it to your respective homes safely. Thank you all for sharing your experience at Nationals with us and thank you Linda for sharing all of those wonderful photographs (the pictures from the Tri State Show as a bonus!). Megan, you posted early on that all of you involved in breeding and showing dogs are really part of a "weird sub-culture" that the rest of the world ignores until Westminister. I am sure that there is a "sub-culture" but I see nothing weird about it. Following this thread let us share, just a little, the joy and the excitement that you must experience at these shows, surrounded by people who feel like you do and all doing what you each love. Thank you again.

I can't thank Tofupup, Ann and Lightplum enough for taking the time to bring all of us at Sheltie to the Nationals. You all looked amazing -- almost as good as your Shelties (:wink2:), but most of all, you looked as if you AND the Shelties were having so much fun! Look for me next year!
