Release cue?

Hi Everyone, me again...

I have a quick question and I just want to be clear about the answer.

Do I use the same release cue for any stay? If I tell Phoebe to go to her mat, is it the same release cue for a stay outside? Into her crate, etc. I am just wondering if I should use a different release for inside vs. outside.

Thanks again

I use that too, just like you wrote it!
Higher pitched voice..giggle...to funny!

For all stays in and out?

I use the same release word for everything that puts him in some sort of stay.

I use "okay". Only sucks when my agility trainer is talking to me, I have Koji in a sit/stay and I say "okay" as a response to my trainer and off Koji goes. Oops. :rolleyes2:

I always used "Freeeeeee!" too, but lately have caught myself saying "That'll do" in much the same tone of voice. I think this may be an old habit resurfacing from my herding trial days.

I use ok... for all releases... after "leave it", after "stay", etc.... I wish I had picked something different, but it's pretty entrenched now, so I'm stuck with it.

Iused to use ok but changed to break for the above reason.
