hi everyone! roy b is 10 months now and after a lot of hard work he is less shy and become a more happy dog. when he was young, he loves every dogs and recently if he met some dog too hyper or pushy, he snap them!! do you guys have any experience on that?? is this a teenage thing and do you guys have any suggestion on how can i fix it?

yep, Che does not like pushy dogs too and has became pretty easily triggered around 1 year old, which is normal. Che did have his neutering done at this time and is more tolerant, still he does not like pushy dogs in his face- many dogs do not. It is bad and impolite move in doggie world.

I have to agree, very impolite in the doggie world. This isn't something that your dog should be corrected for. If he doesn't like that dog then remove him from the situation.
My Sadie also doesn't like pushy dogs or young dogs getting into her face. If she gets snappy I just remove her.

Yes, Toffee does NOT like this at all either.

I notice many sheltie doesn't like that!! too bad we have so many hyper/pushy poodle and shih tzu around the neighborhood....
one funny thing is roy b has a hyper and super pushy poodle playmate since he was young, he let him do anything to him. i guess he just see the poodle part of the family....
