I sure would LOVE to read where they caught the "person" who did that to this sweet little baby. Please keep us posted on her progress, she will be in my prayers for a complete and total recovery. Thank you so much to that good Samaritan who helped this baby when she couldn't help herself. :smile2:

Thank you so much for posting Bella's story. Although hard to understand how she ended up this way, I can only say I want to be part of helping her. I will send my donation today and my prayers also.

Please keep us updated on her progress. Thank you and the angels that came to her aid. Wishing you a speedy recovery Bella.

I agree, I hate hearing stories of people hitting dogs and not stopping.

One of my friends had their dog run out of the house into the street and a car hit and dragged it. They didn't even stop, which upset my friend, not because she blamed them, but she didn't have a car and would have liked a ride to the vet!

Lorna, the dog, ended up recovering just fine, thank god, but she had half her body skinned and was cage ridden for some months.

This rescue really does great work, they're who I we met priscilla through, and although that didn't work out, everyone was fantastic and very supportive as we attempted to get the issues worked out.

Oh that 1st photo brought tears to my eyes, seeing her laying in the watery ditch. But her last pic makes up for that, LOVE her smile! I'm so happy she was found by loving people who have helped her, and thank goodness a Collie rescue group has custody of her now.

Kicked in a couple dollars toward her expenses, I sure hope they're able to raise most or all of the money needed to treat this sweetie.

After reading some of your posts this morning, I discovered there was more to little Bella's story than I first saw, have now added my few dollars to the cause. As the same for many of you, she is in my thoughts and prayers for a complete and total recovery.

Thanks so much for posting!

I LOVED seeing her smiling face~~~

However, the second picture was too hard to look at.

My brother went through a terrible car accident and had those metal rods implanted. Brought back terrible memories...

So very glad surgery will make her better. Will donate more next month!

Hang in there Bella!!!

Virtual hugs coming your way and prayers for a speedy recovery!

A video update on Bella! She's so sweet. Apparently a little scared of the ipad, and she looks as if the constant pain from recovering is trying on her a little. They say she's continuing to improve, she's getting short "walks" a couple times a day. A comment on their facebook page indicates that once she's fixed up and no longer needs such intensive care she has a foster home lined up.

Such sweet bewildered eyes.
