Sadie @11MOS & Kileaux @9MOS

What gorgeous coats they have!! I just posted some pics of my sable's coat because it is not luxurious by any means and am wondering if it's damaged...wish he had a coat similar to your sable's...it just sticks up all over for some reason.

So cute! This may be a silly question, but how do you pronounce 'Kileaux'?

Not a silly question. It is pronounced Key-Low. My husband named her, and at first we were spelling it Kilo, but lived in Louisiana and my husband like the thought of making it more French.. so Kileaux it became. We also didn't want it to sound anything like her older sister, Sadie. As different as can be for sure!

You know how many people say, "Isn't that a weight measurement for drugs?".! I just tell'em that that is far from why she is named that. We love her name, and it really fits her. :smile2:

Thank you! I always am paranoid that their coats are not full or long enough yet! For a long time, everyone thought Kileaux was a Australian Shepherd everywhere she went. While I like the AS's, I am glad she is starting to get her fuller coat and represent the Sheltie more.

We just started using the Chris Christensen(sp?) products last month and I am so happy with it! Sadie has had really frizzy and dry 'pants' and one treatment of CC conditioner made her whole body feel amazing! I haven't used the Ice on Ice yet, as I'm saving it for a special occasion, but it is hard to wait after all the good things I've heard about it.
