Do you think it's because owners notice the change in urine color, and bring in dogs with infections that might been left to resolve on their own during warmer months?
Precisely.
We get 3 or 4 'She seems fine, but I saw blood in her urine yesterday' cases a week when there is snow. That would be an unusual history, barring an accident in the house, in the summer. - Dr. Mac
