Hello everyone! I was able to teach my 6 month old "Frankie" shake in 2 days! All I did was take my hand and brush his leg from top (like the armpit area- if dogs had them) to his paw. I would do this over and over and say the command "shake" until he finally lifted his paw (there's that persistence!)- when he lifted his paw I would reward him with a treat while still saying the command. We had a total of 4-5 sessions over a 2 day period and he got it!
Now my kids thinks it's cool that he shakes their hands on command when Mom did all the hard work!
