She loves her TV

She was laying on the couch supposedly fast asleep. On comes the Travelers commercial with all the animals. UP she jumps to run in front of the TV and jump up and down like a yo-yo. She also has to throw in her growl. The Travelers commercial she actually has it down to the music. She'll come running in from another room if she hears it. Also, when ever a dog shows up on some show or commercial she has to do her yo-yo response.

If she needs a workout all you have to do is just put on the Dogs101 show. If you ask her she waits for you to find it on the DVD. She seems to know that certain things have to appear on the screen before that show will appear. Probably should curtail her, but it so cute to see her setting in front of the TV watching the action.

I never noticed just how many commercials have dogs until you have a dog who reacts to them. Is it just her, or does anyone else have a TV watching dog?

Oh my gosh, totally agree with your "you don't know how many commercials have dogs in them". Same is true for TV shows. Seems like every time a sitcom is in a neighborhood, they throw in a dog barking in the background.

Bentley goes crazy. But, he really hasn't figured out that it's coming from the TV. He will run all around the house barking.

I have to keep the sound off my laptop. Otherwise, if I'm watching any you tube videos with a dog barking she'll come running to check out the screen. What's so funny is she'll sniff and look around the backside to try to figure out where's the rest of the dog.

Emma wanted to take on the TV on Saturday. she didn't the old West standoff/gunfight that was in a movie I was watching(it was from the 60's).

Zoey likes the TV, but she seems to understand that it's a televison and a projection. Any noise that would get her worked up in "real life", such as motorcycles, dogs, doesn't get her worked up at all when it comes from the TV.

Same with images. She watches TV with me often. I watch tons of dogs shows, a lot of them bark, growl, and she'll just lay down next to me, caring less.

Talking about projections though, we have a big mirror in our bathroom. If I go in the bathroom to use the sink let's say, she will look in the mirror to see my face. I think it's so cool.

edit: there might be an exception to sound from the TV that will get her worked up. If she hears knocking on the door from a show, she will head to the door... but I think it's because it's me thinking that it's the real door. My boyfriend always has to tell me it's the TV and not real :p

Both of my dogs will occasionally start barking after a dog has barked on TV but not all the time.

It was kind of strange though because my little Siera is scared to death of fireworks and saturday she was sleeping on my lap and I was watching TV and the program had fireworks going off and she freaked for about a second thinking it was really fireworks but she calmed down pretty quickly. LOL

My dogs like to watch TV especially Bella.....She loves a game of Tennis and sits waiting for the ball to come her way. I have a 55 Inch TV and the first time they saw a person close up they freaked I had to turn off the TV LOL
