Shedding

I have 2 shelties - one with a longer smoother coat (he is 12 months old) and the other with a very thick fluffy undercoat, which makes him look overweight (he isn't - he is 10 months old). We are relatively new sheltie owners and I love reading all your suggestions. Anyway, our older one is shedding a lot but our fluffy one isn't shedding yet. Do all shelties blow their coats the same time? How long does this last?
When I brush them, I get so much hair that I get nervous that they won't have any left! :smile2:

thanks!

Mine all blow their coats around the same time, but puppy's usually blow their coat (puppy coats) around a year old. (That's when they're in their yearly uglies).

Mine blow their coat in the spring (March-May) and in the fall (September-October)...any of those omths and they could be shedding!

So how long after the puppy coat goes until it grows back full? just curious since my girl is way past that stage. :smile2:
