Lilly here;

Dear Amy, You're welcome. Mommy and I sure are hoping that Petunia can live out her days in the style I've become used to ;-)

Every penny helps!!! Without a doubt, we'll get there!! Keeping paws crossed that all goes smoothly for Petunia with her first treatment on Monday!! :)

(We need a puppy smiley!!) :lol:

Lots of paws crossed here for Petunia as she takes another big step on the road to a healthy and safe future. Poor girl, what a lot she's been through. :( I wish I could visit her during her treatments. Again, I can't say 'thank you' enough to rescues who manage things like this for dogs like Petunia.

Connie, I just saw that Petunia is going to be able to come live with you after treatment! That's FANTASTIC news! (Yes, I'm very behind on the forum posts.)

I continue to pray that her treatments are successful.

Petunia PUPDATE

PUPDATE!!!

Petunia is on her way to the animal hospital at the moment. She'll be staying there for a week and a half for her treatments -- 2 per day for a total of 8 days.

Please continue to keep Petunia in your thoughts....she's doing so well!!!

We at TSSSR cannot thank all of you here at Sheltie Nation enough, for the kindness, love, & donations for Petunia!!!! She's a sweet girl and really deserves a better life, which we know lies ahead for her, after this big hurdle is crossed. :)

Will post another pupdate as soon as I hear how her treatments are going!! I've asked Kelly to post a pic I've sent to her; keep your eyes open!

THANK YOU! :)

Dear Petunia, thoughts are with you during this phase of your treatment. I know you must be so bewildered. Hang in there, you're near the finish line!!! :yes:

Awww, it's so hard not being able to let them know just what they're going to go through and why! I am sure Petunia trusts the people who are looking after her, though -- dogs really do know when we are trying to help them.

I told the Hooligans that we are expecting Petunia to come live with us. The boys are very pleased.* The girls ... well, they pretended not to hear me. That's okay. There is quite enough space, and beds, and food, and attention, here for everyone. Including Petunia, when she arrives. :smile2:

*Um, I think the Border Collie thought I was talking about a sheep. When I said 'no, a SHELTIE' he pretty much just shrugged.

Max said he will cross his paws for prayers all the time his pal Petunia is going through this. He know she has come a long way already so this will be a walk in the park for her. He will also continue the paw praying until Connie tell us she is doing so much better. Luv you petunia' you are my hero :)
