Hi, Sheltie fans!

We are putting together an all Sheltie team for Friday racing at the NaFa flyball championships in Indianapolis. If you and your Sheltie would like to join us, please contact me at margaret@margaretweis.com. The more barking, the merrier!

Thanks!

Margaret

Oh bummer!!! Sca is already on two of our teams but I would LOVE to see that. I always wanted a local All Sheltie Open team but we still lack a couple of local shelties to make it possible.

Keep us posted as time nears and either post up or PM your team name so we can come by for a hello. Sca is on the North Alabama Box Rockers and Spitfire is still on the @#$#@ list  The team still loves him though as he might be a great height dog one day.

BC Boomerangs. What's up with Spitfire? Great name for a Sheltie!

He is still in training. He loves the jumps and has gone all four almost from the start. But refuses to bring the ball back. He is not afraid of the box but will cheat to avoid it if possible. The faster I get him to go the better he does as he cannot plot (yes he earned his name and continues to live up to it) However when you first start that is almost impossible as you want to chain. For instance he does better at 4 jumps than 1 :rolleyes2: And about the time I want to strangle him he jumps up in my lap and does his cute act  In contrast Sca his super well behaved and laid back for a Sheltie, I think I got Spitfire to make up for him

Both my Shelties are "crackhead" Shelties. Both rescues. Had problems with Joey crossing. Still have trouble with him doing "drive-by" snarfs at the dog coming after him. He's bounced off a few! He's known as Joey the Thug for a reason.

Clancy started after only 8 classes because our height dog got herself knocked up.:) He is only 18 months, but he's already doing good. He has some growing up to do, but hopefully that will happen soon!

Oh and if you see him in Indy you will think I am lying. Likely he will be power snoozing in his crate or if out avoiding people that want to pet him.
