I am so going to have to watch this so I understand these "strange" games for next weekend.

BTW, sadly, we're working on getting Koji to jump up on a table faster, since you said it stops the clock for some games. LOL.
Can't wait to watch Edan - oh wait, it's lunch, I can watch now.

I think in some organizations you can fault and still get a Q. I'm not sure which though I get them all confused! In USDAA you can't Q if you have a fault, but I'm not sure about the others.

On the Sunday Standard run, Edan was one of the few dogs in Level 2 or 3 (it was a combined Level 2/3 course) to actually HIT that entrance to the weaves.

It doesn't look like it on the video but it a particularly ugly approach to the weaves. Most people ran directly for the weaves from the A-frame and that resulted in most dogs entering the weaves incorrectly. If you look, I pushed Edan out ever so slightly at the bottom of the A-frame to give him a better entry line. Sure, it may have cost a fraction of a second but better that than a fault.

You had some very nice front and rear crosses. The rear cross on the jump before the dog walk in the Sunday Jackpot run was very effective in turning Edan to the left so you could send him to the dog walk.

In CPE Levels 1-4 you can have faults up to 10 faults. Level 5 can have up to 5 faults. Champion Level, 0 faults. (Page 10 of the CPE Rulebook: http://www.k9cpe.com/forms/2010rb.pdf)

Thank you! Honestly, when my rear crosses are timed right, they work great. When I mess up the timing, it gets very ugly.

Of course you have no faults! Every mistake on the course was my fault; too far ahead, stepped to the left or right too fast. You just did what I asked you do to like a good boy.

CPE you can fault and still Q. AKC Novice can have a fault and still Q. TDAA has to be clean.
