Should this worry me?

Dexter is now ~15weeks old. I brought him to a dog park in Wilmington DE today where he ran around a bit with a little yorkie having so much fun. Looked so happy and cute. A little while after he starts having instability in his hind legs. He wouldnt be able to stand. He would sway then fall. His expression was fine, wasnt in any pain when I went over and checked his rear legs.
Maybe 15mins later he starts running around with a black lab puppy - no instability.
could it just have been fatigue or should I worry something else?

Sounds like fatigue to me..did he get that drunk like walk to him? Ive seen that before where they are staggering about when they have worn themselves out too much. Or it could have even been like a muscle spasm from too much activity. I'd personally would have brought him home after that and let him rest.
 
Could have been dehydration? When they run and run like that they need lots of water. I would make a point of bringing water with you to the park.

I've seen portable water bowls for dogs. It's like a human water bottle, but the bottom flips out into a bowl.

he did get that drunk walk - he would walk short steps and his rear legs would be unstable.

\I'll bring him home if he does that again - thanks.
 
not related to your question but I would wait until you done with all your puppy shots before bringing pup to dog park, safer that way.
