Silly Question?????????

Sadie was never a cuddler either, till we got Ginny. Ginny likes to cuddle and Sadie didn't like that Ginny was getting the attention, so Sadie has become a cuddler. its our evening routine that I lie down on the couch, Sadie cuddles up beside me and Ginny climbs on top of me and lies across my shoulder.:smile2:

Give it time, when she's not so busy doing puppy stuff maybe she'll realize she likes to cuddle too.

Shelby is not a cuddler. She likes to be held when you are standing but once you sit down she is done. On the rare occasion she does sit with you don't touch her or she will leave. She wants to be with us just not on us. She is a lot more cuddly as she is getting older. I honestly don't mind b/c as much as I like to cuddle I don't think I want an dog that is constantly on top of me.

^This. Hold Riley and he goes limp, sit down and he will wiggle away. The only time I can really cuddle with Riley is when he's knocked-out after a long day. Then I can do all the poking and prodding I want
He's 9 months like Evie, so maybe he'll grow up to be a cuddler.

I think its dog personality....and define cuddle.....

If I let Indy cuddle with me he goes into almost orgasmic twists and turns and rolls. Same if I even just pat his head....he instantly rolls over and demands belly rubs.

Bacca glues himself next to be on the bed, but if I pick him for cuddles, he mostly seems to want to get away.

Neither dog particularly wants to be picked up, but then its hard to comfortably pick up a 30 lb Sheltie! LOL!

For sure, they go the teenage periiod from 8 months to 2+ years where cuddles are not their no. 1 driver. Food, treats and exercise! Yes!

2 absolute non cuddlin seniors and an 8 year old that will get on my lap as long as Daddy isn't home. If Daddy is home, I'm usually chopped liver.

I keep threatening them with getting a poodle to cuddle on my lap! LOL Maybe I'll change that to shih tzu.

No cuddling here. She has to be in the same room as me, will sometimes lay on the couch or bed with me, but will not lay next to me.
