I"m lying in bed, on the phone talking to my mom, and here's Mya.....lying next to me on her backside, back legs are totally going in the opposite direction, tail tucked in ( has to keep her modesty you know), her head was angled and she looked totally happy and relaxed.

Did you notice how many of us like our dogs tucked up tight to us?
Today, my simple pleasure was watching Emma and Liam frolicking in the yard, big Sheltie grins on their faces as they enjoyed the warmer weather and the sunshine.

For me, it was sitting in my office and watching Indy flaked out on the deck in the quasi-spring sunshine.
He was snoozing as it it was the middle of summer, even though it was only 4C. But the sun was so warm......

For me,it is the confidance & attitude of Mia.I love it when she snuggles close,misjudges when she sniffs my face,and gets my glasses wet.But it's all good.
As for Trapp & Jasper,so many times I say to them,I love you,and Trapp will tilt his head as if to say..I know mom.And Jasper grumbles.But I know he knows that we love him to.
As Earnhardt ages,we find ourselves thinking,there will be a day,that he will not be here with us.And we wonder,how will we cope.He is what,some would say a heart dog.But he is more than that to us. We are just blessed.

The Pup wanted out to pee at 5:30 this morning, after taking her out in the pouring rain bringing her back in & drying her off instead of putting her back in her crate, I brought her back into bed with me, she snuggled right up & curled up right underneath my Chin and when fast back to sleep till 7 when I got up.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the hubby's days off and he has a tendency of waking up in the middle of the night and getting the pups going as well. (One of those things you love and hate at the same time 
) My favorite is when Tess is still half asleep too, and would really prefer to get some more beauty sleep, but she just can't seem to resist Danny's 2 AM antics. In a king-size bed I get exactly one-quarter inch with Tess in the crook of one arm and her head on my shoulder and my husband with his arm around me and his head on my other shoulder, they will 'paw' at each other over my chest like two little kids (He'll even sing to her if he gets desperate) until I am fully awake and go get them something from the kitchen... I Have dark circles under my eyes today, but I wouldn't change it for the world.

Goodness, there are so many! 
Waking up in the morning on weekends with three fuzzy faces an inch from mine staring at me with tails wagging.
Watching the three of them running around at top speed playing chase.
Cuddled up on the couch with Ginny perched on top of me, Sadie at my feet and Toby beside me.
Sheltie cuddles of any kind.
Toby sticking his big nose in my eye when he's trying to show affection.
Sadie gently huffing in my face in her sweet way.
Ginny sniffing loudly (She sniffs louder than any dog I've ever heard.
)
Hiking with them, watching them race around and discovering new things.
....just to name a few.
