Trapp's progress

Well the little munchkin had a vet appointment today,and he weighs 11.5 lbs & is 13-1/4".
The vet said he is doing so very well. He got his final shots today.

Bumper also saw the vet today,for her yearly checkup, wormed and booster shots.She's kinda put out with me today,as getting poked & stuck with 2 shots has not settled well with her. She is running a little temp,I'll be keeping a good watch on her. Have called the vet,he said she should be fine,it may have upset her enough that her belly is upset. She has slept much of the afternoon.Eating & drinking ok though~
 
Hmm wonder where that puts him on the growth chart? He is sure growing and will look forward to the new pics. How is Bumper feeling now that she has been home longer?
 
Well, the weight puts him at in-size; but the height puts him at over-sized. Did they measure to the top of the shoulder height or the head?

As of late last night,Bumper is feeling much better.She is a bit more active this morning,and had a restful night.Her temperature is down now. She had two injections yesterday,plus a pill shoved down her throat,as it was worming medicine. Plus her eyes were flushed,so all of that just was a bit much.

I worry so about her,as being in strange hands yesterday,even though they are extra careful,and talk to her with every thing they do,it still is upsetting,as she cannot see her surroundings. I do not let her out of my sight when she is in vets office.

I am going to remeasure Trapp today.He was not cooperative being measured yesterday,so I'm sure it is not accurate. Wiggle butt he was!!

Well we remeasured him this morning,he was alot more cooperative for us.He measured 12-3/4".

After much debate,& thinking,plus seeing what our local Tractor store had available for a permanent food,we have opted for Taste Of The Wild. As his small bag of Iamms (had to feed him something..I'm ducking so I don't get hit with something) but I had to get him on something after the Nutro scare.

Brian said no to putting him back on Nutro,after reading about various issues thru the years with it.
We'll transition slowly,tonite he had a few morsals in his feeding ball.Over the course of the next couple of weeks,till the Iamms is gone.Hopefully we'll have no further problems.

His feeding ball is working awesome,no vomiting issues,bloated belly,and absolutely no belching has happened.

I really took into consideration the long term purchase of the big bag of TOTW,and the pricing was very good,compared to the other quality dog foods they carried.

I have to say that in the weeks that he has been on the Iamms,I'm not liking what I see with his coat.His coat seems dry.Other than that I think Trapp will eat shoe leather and think it's a t-bone steak and be perfectly happy.

Zooming dogs~

I could not get to the overhead light quick enough,so excuse the almost black screen for the first few seconds.

i'll tell ya i don't think I have seen Earnhardt move this fast in a long time.I'm not sure which one initiated the zoomies,but we had alot of fun watching..

Earnhardt is recuperating..:biggrin2: It totally tuckered him out~
