Actually Barb,
That's exactly what we are going to do in the spring. Until then,I am looking & bookmarking sites that pertain to agility equipment already made,and also some that you can easily make yourself,using pvc pipes etc.
So just for fun,excersise,we'll stick to the back yard to.
I've bookmarked quite a few sites,plus I have found oodles of agilty listings on Ebay.

The closest agility for us is now being built in Lake City,which please forgive me,I think is still in SC.But it will be lots closer than Columbia.
 
And BarbV, Ann has a bunch of equipment too. She could be able to give you some info on it. I would like to get this little guy busy in the spring.

He weaves down the horse fence now when Teddy is chasing him, he jumps the stone walls and then jumps the brook (to keep his feet dry), he burrows under the covers at night and pops his head out of the side and I swear he laughs when his head comes out.

He really isn't all that fast though, Teddy outruns him, but McKinley out-thinks him and catches him.
 
Thanks, guys! I'll PM Ann on this unless she wants to jump in and provide a list of what is easily done at home....with an ok sized city lot.

I'm thinking some things could still be done in the winter - e.g. weave poles stuck into snow banks! :lol:

What I'm really looking for is ways to keep my dogs exercised this winter. Then we'll see about the spring.
 
Coats are absolutely NOT listed in the special attire wear in the S.U.B.U. contract. Coats are requested by the S.U.B.U., especially for puppies who live indoors and have thinner coats.

Trapp is so cute. I love his freckled paws!
 
very cute! I love the jacket. I'm debating if I should get Bailey a jacket or not. She has a pretty fluffy coat for a puppy. She never went through that awkward short hair phase like my first sheltie did.
 
Trapp, that's a lovely grown-up looking parka.

This reminds me that I was going to stop at Goodwill and peruse the infant clothing for a hoody for Phebe.

Thank heavens we are not in violation! We like his freckles to! Everyone comments on them.
Well for this winter,he will have to wear the jacket,his belly does not have much hair.I'm sure by next winter,he will be somewhat filled out with a coat. (we hope)
